Funding Opportunities

The Office of Sponsored Research and Programs offers internal grants such as the Research, Scholarly and Creative Activities grant program and can be located under Internal Grants. Faculty who are interested in locating sources of funding specific to their research interests can create your own Smart/Genius[pdf] profile, and to learn more about SMARTS/SPIN, which is a subscriber service offered by Info Ed that can deliver such funding opportunity notifications to their desktops.

The CSU Dominguez Hills Emeritus Faculty Association (EFA) is continuing to offer Faculty Legacy Fund Awards, an on-campus professional development grant program for current tenure-track and tenured faculty members.  This award program has been created to provide financial assistance to encourage and support professional development in the areas of teaching, research and creative activity.  Awards are open to all tenure-track and tenured faculty, although preference is given to non-tenured, tenure-track faculty.

The EFA expects to be able to award up to three grants for a maximum of $7500 each. Requests may be submitted for any amount up to that maximum amount.

The deadline for submitting proposals has passed.  The grant application can be found on the Emeritus Faculty website at http://547wx7fz.web-sitemap.myxiwei.com/academic-affairs/emeritus-faculty/faculty-legacy-fund/ or by contacting Leni Cook at the e-mail listed below.

We strongly encourage you to apply.  If you have any questions about the Faculty Legacy Fund Awards, feel free to contact Leni Cook at cooklg@cox.net or lcook@myxiwei.com
